P0401 fault code keeps coming up.

Featured Replies

Any help on this would be appreciated, I've got a 2016 VRS DSG and I've recently had both EGR Valves changed on my car as I kept getting the P0401 code coming up saying insufficient A Flow and the fault is still coming up after this but one thing I was told when the car was in the garage is the DPF is missing unbeknownst to me as I've only had the car a short while. Could this factor into why the fault keeps coming up?

Thanks.

Is the car actually a diesel?

Yeah the car is a diesel. It looks like it been deleted or chopped off per say.

Would the car pass an MOT in the UK if the DPF has been removed/bypassed?

A missing DPF could contribute/cause that kind of air path/exhaust fault.

Do you know how they've bypassed it? just removed the brick from DPF can or replaced the can with a straight pipe?

Is there any kind of orifice to give a similar backpressure to the original DPF?
