No turn light (flashers) when locking

Featured Replies

Helloi have problem if anyone can help. One day just stop working flashers when i lock the car. When i unlock it flashes normaly.
i had bad lock for fuel it didnt locked i thought this is problem so i replace it , delete fault codes but the same no flash at lock? Anyone know where is problem, i also try to take of the clamps of battery with no results

The car is telling you that it is unable to complete locking and set the security.  We really need a scan from ODBEleven or VCDS for us to provide any further details.

But if there would be problem with locks or microswitch in locks then one door would not lock right? And i think all microswitches works becouse i see on dash which door /boonet/ trunk is open they all light up on dash when i open.

is there any fuse adicted only to Lock flash? Becouse like i said only when locked dont flash

Well, from that report, the only thing I can see is: there is a power management problem... possibly caused by a dying battery and the MIB system has locked itself (Component Protection) and all the speakers have connectivity issues.

No issues reported with security or locking.

It was becouse i took the battery clamps down for 10minutes, the infotainment speakers have faults bcouse they are not connected they are connected to hify amplifier. What about microswitch am i thinking right? If they are showing on dashboard when i open doors they are ok right?

Dashboard shows if a door is open or closed, not if it is locked, right?

The door locks may have separate switch for locking of the doors.

To test if any door is not actually locking when it should, try locking with the fob - then check each door and trunk.

Yes it shows if they are open, i had little crash in front bumper so i thought it may be the problem in microswitch on bonnet , but it show all doors, also when i open doors the interrior  light came up on all doors.

I tryed and all dors all locked , i ll try tomorow also what hapens if i lock with the key if there will be any difference

Also tried to look up with measurment with vcds all dors lock /unlock, and open closed normaly when vieving in vcds.

Does tank lock have anything to do with that? I changed it but its. Ot original does it have any microswitch? I unpluged it but it has only 2 wires

Fuel cap lock doesn't affect locking (I lock my car after opening the fuel filler and itll beep).

What you could also try is one by one, open each door, bonnet or tailgate, then lock the car, then shut that door/bonnet/tailgate. If the sensor/switch is intermittent you might find the location of it that way if it suddenly flashes.

There may also be an "alarm information" or such data if you were to go into the central electronics module which will show why it cannot complete locking/setting of the alarm.
