Hello Kodiaq, goodbye Superb

Featured Replies

Found a 22 plate Kodiaq 2.0 200ps diesel L&K in grey on the HeyCar website. Haven’t bought a car via ‘distance buying’ before so took a while making up my mind but finally took the plunge and bought it. Traded in my 66 plate Superb estate. The whole process went smoothly though there was no HeyCar involvement at all - it was all done through the dealer.
The Kodiaq is great. It’s nice to be getting up into a car again and much less of a struggle climbing out of it than the Superb had become (I’m getting on a bit 🤣).
Have had a towbar fitted ready for our first caravan outing of the year in March. Getting some all-season tyres on it today so it’s just about kitted-out as I want it.

Just got to get my old head around all the tech though am already loving the adaptive cruise control.

You have DCC? I found it rather good in DCC sport with cruise and DSG on the "A" roads up north. Very little wagging of the rear of the car from the 'van (1500kg). Did notice that weight in the absolute back - under the rear bunks - made a huge difference and brought that back into the car, which was very helpful.

I've heard only good things about using the Kodiaq as a towcar.
