Ive just changed the oil in my 2014 Octavia vRS early (time and mileage). But because the light isn't on I don't know how to reset the service interval? ie holding down the trip reset.

 

 

On youtube it is shown that you hold the trip reset and turn ignition to on whilst doing so for the menus to come up?

Yes, you can do the service light reset procedure above.  Also suggest that you invest in an ODBEleven to make this task easier for you.
