Could anyone confirm if its beam or multi-link/independant? I've checked a historic brochure and searched the best I can but can't find this info anywhere.

I believe otherwise it is just the Mk4 VRS that's not beam style..

Coming from a Leon ST 150 and its the one thing I hoped the change come replacement time..

All Skoda 4x4's have multi-link/independent rear suspension.

The Octavia MK4 1.4 petrol 150kW/204PS is front wheel drive and that has multi-link/independent rear suspension...so it's not just reserved for the 4x4 and the VRS.
