Hi All - my parents have a '21 Enyaq, and unfortunately dad hit a large pheasant the other day. It's cracked the plastic grille, in front of the radar sensor for the Front Assist, and now there are error messages saying Front Assist isn't available. I tried clearing the errors using Torque and an OBDII reader, but Torque can't actually see any errors. Carly can, but wants me to pay for the premium subscription to do so, which I'm loathe to do if it's not going to be able to reset things.

Anyone know about this? I'm suspecting it'll need the plastic grille insert replacing and the Front Assist sensor recalibrated, no doubt at vast expense, but if simply clearing the errors will allow things to work properly again then that would be great. The plastic grille insert is purely cosmetic, after all, and whilst they'll get it sorted when they trade it in, they're not fussed about a couple of small cracks to the plastic in the meantime.

Unfortunately, it is likely that the mounting brackets for the radar sensor have been broken, can be confirmed by gently pushing against the front of the sensor. If this is the case, it will require replacement of the brackets and recalibration of the radar.

AFAIK, front assist not being available will also affect cruise control.

Ahh possibly. I did peak in from the side and it looks fine, but can't actually get to the sensor itself.

They don't have ACC so I think the old-school cruise should still work. Not that they use it very frequently anyway! They mostly potter about rural Wiltshire, hence the pheasant!
