Go onto Opie oils and just put you reg in. It’s supposedly a 0w20 or something ridiculous. I have an up gti with the same engine and it’s quieter and I use a 5w40 ee oil fo m millers

The Spec was changed by 2019 to VW 508 00 / 509 00 so 0w 20 FS IV but that was for Fixed or Variable Service intervals.

Nothing to stop you using VW504 00 / 507 so 0w 30 FS III or 5w 30 FS III if you wanted, fixed or variable oil service regime.

Or the 5w 40 FS for Fixed Oil & Filter Servicing. But Skoda / VW never showed that.

Sorry meant 5/30 not 5/40 I use that in the super superb
