Wheel sizes for 2015 MK2 superb

Featured Replies

Hi all, first time Skoda owner, I just bought a 2015 Superb MK2 green line III and I love it. It has the 16 inch wheels fitted and I would like to fit larger OEM wheels for the summer, when I was looking at the original brochure I noticed that on the greenline III only 2 wheel options were offered. I know the car has the 15mm lowered suspension, would that stop me from fitting 18 Inch OEM wheels? Thank you in advance

Don’t forget to tell your insurance. Even though you’re planning to use OEM wheels that could have been fitted to a car of this type, it’s still a change from the spec of your particular car. Don’t give them an excuse to deny a claim, or worse still cancel your insurance.

Hi.

If you have any issues with insurance at all for a change wheels then please feel free to drop me a line.

Regards,

Dan.

For what it's worth my 2013 estate came on 18" wheels and the ride was pretty firm.

Last winter I bought a set of 16" Octavia alloys and fitted Goodyear all season tyres.

The ride quality was vastly improved much smoother and quieter.

I expect the ultimate handing will be reduced but that's not an issue for me.

Our Karoq is on 19" wheels and is even harsher - may do the same here!
