MIB2 coding Cambridge

Featured Replies

Hi. Anyone in the Cambridge area that can do coding on MIB2.

Did the update and component protection has come back on.

Thanks

So - the million dollar question here is: how did you originally remove Component Protection? If you did it any other way - other than visiting a Skoda Dealer - then I'm afraid you are going to be stuck with this one.

I bought a unit with it already removed and fitted but was running older software so updated it and it came back on.

That means CP had been removed by a hack method which was lost when updating the firmware - not "properly" removed.

I found someone that sorted it remotely for me. He's from London. MK retrofit on Facebook is his account. Really nice chap.

Did speak to Pab about it and he said I could do it with toolbox but I wasn't really confident enough to give it a go.
