Need Help to Update Virtual Cockpit

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,
I'd like to know if my Virtual Cockpit is up to date on my 2021 Skoda Kamiq 1.0L - DGS7 - Style.

I managed to update my MIB3 by following the instructions on this forum (thank you).
Device 3V0 035 816 D
Hardware > H22
Software: 0332
Navigation: 24.6
Radio: 1.31.44

But I didn't understand everything about updating the Virtual Cockpit.

To know my version of Dashboard via OBDII + CarScanner

> System abbreviation: J285
> Date of last adaptation: 250412
> Date of last coding: 210621
> Parameterization date: 000101

Then where How can I find new firmware if it exists?

Can I do this with a simple USB drive?

Thanks for your help.

I may be wrong but I think you are conflating 2 things.

Your car is built with certain hardware, you can't easily change this although it can be done.

If your software is up to date then it's up to date as far as I know.

However it is possible to code certain features in all VAG cars on or off. You need specialised equipment for this but many companies offer this service. For reasons best known to themselves VAG chose to code features on in some models and off in others while both are built with the capability. The classic one is needle sweep when the ignition is turned on. It possible in nearly all recent VAG models but only coded on in the sporty ones.
