Hi all, just got a 2019 Octavia 1.6 DSG last Friday. Lovely car, but i have become aware of a droning sound while driving, it seems to appear when at 38-45mph, and 55-65ish.

Really noticeable.

Don't think it's the tires, engine or gears. Leaning towards a wheel bearing perhaps, anyone have experience of a similar issue?

Suspect it will be a wheel bearing going.

.....or rear tyres cupping on inside track. Easy to check by running your hand round and feeling for undulations.

Hi, just to update this. It was a wheel bearing, driver side front. Car sounds as it should now. Replaced under dealer warranty.
