Well lads, i know this sounds a bit crazy but has anyone ever done anything similar? I have a 1.2htp fabia but would love to have a pd130 fabia but they are almost non existent around my area. I understand this is a massive job but am just curious as to if anyone has done it. Im more so worried about mounting the engine and having to possibly fabricate mounts and what not. TIA lads👍

If you're in Ireland, surely it would be far easier to just buy one in the UK and drive it over on the ferry?

The amount of work you'd have to do to swap everything over would be not really worth it.

My mate did it with this 1.2 estate, and his dad's saloon. It's a massive job, including lots of wiring and problems that would largely be avoidable with just getting a PD one. A PD 100 Comfort or Elegance for example, will have led an easier life.
