Recommend me a service kit 1.6tdi

Featured Replies

My 1.6tdi 2011 estate will need an oil change soon as service counter is say due in 600 miles and paper work says it was done this time last year so needs doing .

What filters oils etc do you use ? Don’t want to pay main dealer parts price but don’t want to go bargain basement either

Car will be sitting a few days at a time with short starts and moves but will be doing 20 mile journey in to on a Sunday and back from work on a Friday mix of motor way A roads

P/S will be doing it my self , air filter was only done 12k ago

All suggestions welcome

I used to use TPS as they were the VW Group parts place so you could be certain of getting the right part for your vehicle.
No idea if they're still welcoming to the public or if they're still OK if you say 'it's a private job, mate'.

There was, IIRC, a place that sold reduced price OEM spares specifically for older VAG group vehicles but I forget the name now. @Breezy_Pete might have an idea?

I’ll go for that as Skoda online is £75 with air filter

The GSF ones are all Mann filters and Drive tech oil
