Need Urgent Guidance on Resetting & Reprogramming All Modules – Skoda Superb Elegance 2011 TDI

Hi fellow Briskoda members,

I’m reaching out for help from anyone and everyone in the forum who has experience with deep diagnostics, coding, and module programming for the Skoda Superb Elegance 2011 Diesel (CLJA engine variant – although more on that issue below).

The problem started small and has now spiraled into a full-blown electrical and communication mess.

It began with the power windows not rolling up or down. Then I noticed multiple warning lights on the cluster. One by one I’ve been tackling the issues, but each time I solve something, a new fault pops up.

Here’s what I’m facing right now:

ABS module has no coding – ODIS shows "test failed" and needs re-coding.

Steering angle sensor needs calibration.

TCM (Transmission Control Module) communication error.

Engine number is incorrect – somehow, CLJA changed to CJLA (not sure how this happened).

Numerous CAN errors and communication faults across various modules.

I hired a technician who used ODIS to scan and check, he says it's on basic setting and do any and to go ahead with with testing, the ABS module needs to be programmed and till then he cannot proceed further with other tests and diagnostics.

So now, with what I am left with, this is What I Need Help With:

I’m looking for clear guidance and tool recommendations on how to:

1. Completely reset/blank all modules (ECU, ABS, TCM, Gateway, etc.).

2. Recode and reprogram each module correctly from scratch.

3. Use a tool that connects directly to Skoda/VAG servers (or a close alternative) to download correct parameters, coding, and firmware updates.

4. Fix VIN/engine code mismatch and ensure that modules reflect correct hardware/software versions.

Questions:

Is ODIS-E or ODIS-S the right way to go for complete re-flash and coding?

Do I need GeKo access (and how do I get it as a private owner)?

Are there any reliable alternatives to ODIS that allow full module programming and parameter setting?

Has anyone done this successfully on a Superb of this generation and can share a rough step-by-step?

I’m mechanically inclined and okay with taking on the challenge, but I just need the right tools, process, and guidance so I don’t brick any modules or go in circles.

Any tips, tool recommendations, files, or walkthroughs would be massively appreciated. I’m based in India but can work with tools/software from anywhere.

Also, am open for contact of pro-programmers of this type of issues from and in and around Mumbai, INDIA.
