Annoying leccy window

Featured Replies

Right, I`ve put up with it long enough. Basically, when I try to close the drivers side window on my Vrs, it goes all the way to the top (closed) then back down again, then try to close it, to the top and back down. It does it 3 - 4 times before it stays closed. :finger: Tonight, it took 7 atempts to get it to stay closed. :thumbdwn: :finger::mad:

Its pi$$ing me off. Any ideas?

try spraying silicon spray onto the runners as it sounds as though it is stiff and therefore making it think that something is getting jammed in it.

I`ll try it but its running freely and no noises.........

It thinks something is trapped in it, the load protection needs reprogramming.

With the window down hold the switch until it gets t the top, then release the switch and hold up again, you should hear a faint click. This resets the one touch and the roll back.

If this doesnt work then there is a problem with the regulator or the channels.

Try resetting the top position of the closed window. The procedure is on page 15 of the Owner's Manual.

Yet another example of why I must learn to type faster....:(

lol, nice try Denis ;)
