Gday Guys. First time Post.

my wife has a 2009 skoda fabia 1.2

she has an intermittent problem with Bank 1 lean and engine light on.

I am able to reset it and it could go for days without an issue then it pops up again.

Unfortunately I am not up with modern cars. I drive a 1972minii 1000...less things to go wrong...

Can someone steer me in the right direction and what to look for.

Is this a common fault with an easy fix.?

thanks in advance

Kevin

Most M*n*s have a single, single barrel carburettor and Siamesed inlet ports (1&2 and 3&4). This means that they run 2 cylinders rich and the other 2 lean. They just don't actually tell you about it.
