Brake noise

Featured Replies

Afternoon all,

So did a fair bit of motorway driving yesterday and noticed and intermittent noise while braking, doesn't happen everytime I brake which makes it harder to understand, more than likely from the front, any ideas, common issues? Discs look fine and pads, could be a warped disc but thinking the noise would be constant 🤔, as ever any helped appreciated

Potential, stone trapped, dust shield bent / coming loose / rusted. Brake pads worn down, catching edge of the disc.

Inspection of said components a good idea. Disc warping can happen.

What is the story as far as the car, miles done, when brake fluid changed or brakes serviced or inspected?
