Just bought a Skoda Octavia tsi act se technology 2024 plate I cant find the option to turn off the auto door locking when you drive off getting mixed info the option to turn off is no longer in the infotainment menu

some say its a safety thing some say it can be done via the OBD2 port.

My question is

has any one manage to do this if so how

@Tonyduncan Sorry just being nosey but why do you not want the doors Auto locking?

It's a private hire so big pain in the ass

I would also like to disable auto locking, but it seems it's not possible anymore.

only way now is the obd2 port

This cannot be turned off dealer spoke to skoda thay know it's an issue as have had loads of complaints so may in the future reinstate the ability to switch off.

I turned it off on a 2021 1.5 petrol using OBDeleven Linky . It also lets me get it to remember the state of lane assist (it's a pain where I live as it's single lane roads/passing places and gets confused).

It may have changed in the newer cars - but worth a look.

In pre Facelift, you can activate an option in your Infotainment for Autolock via OBD11
