Is it normal for revs to go 250/300 rpm into the redline under full load? I thought it is not meant to be possible to take a DSG into the redline. First service is due in the next 2000 miles, so not sure if it something I should raise? Thanks.

Never ever had an issue redlining and beyond a vehicle with a DSG.

Why have a redline on the dash / rev counter of a vRS or any VW Group vehicle with a DSG / s-Tronic if just to a Full Stop would be as far as you can rev.
