TSI 1.2 CBZB very intermittent problem

Featured Replies

Hi would be grateful for any thoughts on the below.

The car has done 110,000 miles- full service history, spark plugs replaced about a year ago HT leads about 3 year ago. Turbo actuator was replaced about 3 months ago. timing change replaced at 81,000 4 years ago

Tested all the HT leads with a multimeter and seem okay.

Very occasional when the car is accelerating it stutters a little bit- seems a bit like a miss fire but I am not sure- it will just happen once then be fine. This happened once on a 1 hour drive. Garage had a quick look and couldn't find any issues- no error codes.

I was just wondering if any one has any thoughts. I don't really want to start replacing parts in a random chase to solve it. I am not sure if it would be worth replacing the ignition coil but that may not be the issue. Its not really causing a problem but I don't want it to get worse or suddenly stop working.

Many thanks
