And what are the bits next to each light not lit up.

It’s the same on mine; the extra bits are just dummy lenses, and AIUI, not even lamp holder at add extra bulbs🙄

That's why I like my Triumph Stag. I can replace the reversing light bulb holder for one which takes a dual filament bulb, install a Red/White LED bulb and with a few relays can have two fog lights, two reversing lights and four brake lights.

@avi4tor there was me thinking the appeal of a Triumph Stag was the old school charm, walnut dashboard, and 1970s unreliability all cloaked in drop dead gorgeous looks
