Hello everyone, the buckle for the rear right seat belt has fallen into this slot. How can I retrieve it, please? I need to transport children and without the seat belt it could be dangerous. I would like to avoid going to the VW garage... It's a 2018 Skoda Octavia Combi. HELP.

Try a magnet on a telescopic rod whilst gently pulling the belt?

Failing that, you'll have to remove the side trim...

How did get down there? I've checked mine, it would take some doing/bad luck.

It was my 4-year-old grandson who achieved this feat...

I think that I have to remove the side trim. But it's a huge piece that goes from the cabin to the boot. I'm afraid I won't be able to do it.

It's a fair chunk of trim...

I'd have a go with a magnet first.
