Hi,

I just got me a Fabia Classic 1.4 TDI PD (75bhp)

I must admit I think i've grown out of modifying my cars, I'm joining this forum mostly for help when something breaks and I'm looking for extra standard parts that the "classic" fabia does not come with.

Cheers

Jim

Welcome to Briskoda. I've got a 1.4TDI Ambiente estate and it's hilarious . Tons of torque for an engine that's only three cylinders . Just sips fuel , comfy and quiet at motorway-ish speeds and makes an amazing 'tractor' noise when you dump the clutch at lights !

Hi, and welcome

:o didnt know it was only tree cylinders, no wounder it uses no fuel.

I once had a mk3 golf 1.9tdi 75bhp, this little 1.4tdi number would leave it standing on a uphill dash, yes the torque is crazy full car load and it drives the same acceleration wise even up a hill. lol the tractor noise! I thought it sounds more like a school bus! yarrr!

P.S thanks for the welcome all :)

Welcome to Briskoda :wavey:

Keep 'em peeled for me on my daily commute to Cardiff

Good colour choice BTW :D

Welcome. I have heard lots of good reports about that particular engine. :D
