Fook me, thats only about 6 miles away from me!

I was at work today in a greenhouse, er I mean showroom and it was seriously hot. Plus it was very humid, I don't like it!

Ahhhh, thanks heavens I work by the sea. Had the loveliest decent strong breeze blowing inland all day for the last two days. Makes it very pleasant as opposed to oppressive. :cool:

I do feel sorry for you inlanders who get the much higher temps in the summer and much lower temps in the winter. It seems the Atlantic has a very moderating effect on the temps all year round down 'ere. :cool:

That was the highest temp for July.

The highest ever UK was in Augut a few years ago in north kent where it was 38.5c
