DCC Slider Mode

Featured Replies

Good morning everyone.

The next parts are on the table.

This time the DCC control unit and the gateway. Both are relevant for the DCC settings, which should then be done using a slider in individual mode.

I'll first make sure it's running on the table. Then I'll edit the individual vehicle data sets and make them available.

The Continental gateway needs to be flashed to Index AR. Caution: This can cause problems with the Side Assist Radar; it changes the protocol slightly in the gateway.

Personally, I would then switch to the Lear gateway. Required Index AQ.

Caution: Replacing the gateway means unlocking the CP and having the functions activated.

Regarding equipment, you need a tool for writing the data sets, so not OBD11 or the like.

For example, VCP or ODIS or VC Tool.

The DCC unit need Firmware Index C with Software Version 0130

I'll keep you updated.

Apparently, more than just the gateway DCC unit, BCM, and 5F are needed for the FPA to work.

But I've still been able to work without a wake-up signal.

Alternatively, I'll install a fast connection for the DCC unit in my vehicle and test the data sets on the gateway in the car.

So,

The dataset is from a MJ20 Superb 3.

Please note, this is only the FPA part.

So if someone flashes the gateway, they first need the complete dataset from the gateway and then only flash the FPA part.

In the encrypted folder is firmware 0130 DCC, the Arteon DCC dataset is what's needed, and the edited FPA Superb 3 dataset.

PLEASE NOTE: FLASHING FIRMWARE DCC WILL DELETE THE DEFAULT DCC SETTINGS. BUT DOES NOT TRIGGER CP.

No liability on my part
