Front DCC shock replacement

Featured Replies

Hi,

My n/s/f shock is leaking and needs replacing (Superb 2017 L&K 2.0tdi).  I believe the Bilstein b4 damptronic is a suitable replacement (can't seem to find a stock of the OE Monroe ones). Does anyone know whether I can simply swap these or will the replacement need some form of programming in with VCDS (which ai don't own)?  Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Christmas!

Straight plug and play, may need codes clearing but that is all

Definitely definitely don't just fit one! Make sure you do at least 2. You might get away with just one if going OEM but the valving will be different on the bilstein so the car will be unbalanced side to side with different brand shocks.

Ah yes, very good point. Ouch, that's going to hurt the wallet 😭
