When it happens I press ok there is nothing on phone to confirm so I try to disconnect and get the 2nd message so then I have to turn car off or reboot infotainment to get it to connect any ideas.

Ive tryed so far

Unpair everything phone and car

Uninstall AA and reinstalled on phone

Cleared cache and date

Repaired phone to car.20251007_064021.jpg20251007_064021.jpg

Nope, can't help you with your first post either as you have the facelift version whereas I have the original mk4.

Trying to work out if I can get what3words to work with AA without success though, anyone..?

There is a workaround for AA notifications not working an App AA notification forwarder you have to enable developer options in AA and tick allow unknown source.

Update

New phones use Bluetooth v5.0 and are not compatible with infotainment.

Skoda have to build an update to fix this issue.

Not sure that's correct, I have a Samsung S22 that's a few years old now and that has Bluetooth version 5.2 and works fine with my Octavia.

Sorry my bad s25 ultra has Bluetooth 5.4.

BT version should not be a problem. make sure your apps are up to date, and you follow the instructions to connecting the device.

My only problem after the latest software update (for a s22 ultra) is that on wireless android auto the phone expects to have data from the wifi connections and drops the mobile data which results in a no internet scenario, waze hangs, youtube hangs, solution is turning wifi/mobile data off and on again and reconnecting to android auto.

tho' i'll try to get my hands on a 5.4 bluetooth device to try replicate this problem.

Did a bit of digging on this, and apparently the whole idea with Bluetooth is the fact that all versions are backward compatible with older versions, the only restriction being that when connected the devices will operate at the features of the oldest version. So, for example if you have a BT 5.4 device connected to a BT 4.0 then you will only get the features of BT 4.0.

Only the notifications the connection problem still there is have spoken to skoda and thay have to build an update to fix phones with bluetooth 5.4 so its a waiting game.

Has anyone figured out a way of adding apps to AA, other then the select few it allows as standard? Would love to add what3words but can't find a way of doing so? Someone mentioned a setting in AA itself to enable apps from unknown sources, however I can't find any such setting when I've looked..?

Is this coming from the dealer or Skoda themselves?

Skoda said it would be a dealer one not sure when though

I think you're misunderstanding my question - is this information about the update coming directly from Skoda, or is this the dealer telling you? If the latter I smell BS and it may be worth an email to Skoda themselves to clarify.

Update just installed AA ver 16.1 and it seems to have fixed the connection issues.

The connecting problem is still there after a mass update on car software anyone else still having issues with AA and Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra.

Yes, problem is still there after PV4RC updates on the car (including SW 2768 on MiB); phone is also an S25 Ultra. It works flawlessly for several days/weeks, but sometimes it just fails several times a day...
