just because i like the boys doesn't mean i have to drive a girls car, oh **** i do

there there jimbob, you'll grow up one day :)

one of the reasons of me sticking in subs was i was fed up with the stock speakers distorting under bass and was getting worried i would rip them, after the first few days ive found my level with the sub and have them rumbling away :D

liking the looks of the octy tho, that sort of setup did occur to me when i had one on loan for a couple of days. great boot size for a couple of stealth 12 inchs i think too :D

i just got my octy vrs 2 days ago and all the ice from my old fiesta is going in, including the vibe ac12 sub (1200w rms @ 2 ohms) in the old ford i had every plastic panel removed because of the vibrations from this beastly sub. Any of you guys with big bass had probs like this in your skodas or is the build quality up to it?

lol rattles? just turn it up louder ... lol i found once i had carpeted the boot with audio carpet it did help, but really need to use some dynamat as thats wot its designed for, if i get chance tomorrow i might actually stick some into my front doors and take a few pics of the boot now finished

my exhaust rattles and my lights dim with my little set up

which consists off

1x 12" vibe space 12

1x 1600w sony mono amp

1x 1.5 farad power cap

all running of the standard symphony headunit and it sounds spot on!

OP: You need to shorten the visible leads by hiding them under the seats etc. You also need to get some venting going on in there. I take it you have secured the box so it doesn't go sliding about.

Nice setup though, get some grills on them subs though :)

I need to strip the Fabia to fit my lot, put some Infinity components in for the interim but they sound dire when not amped :(
