Surprised to have had to manually switch my Superb (2024) from BST to GMT after the clock change over the weekend. Surely on a £40k+ top-of-the-line car there should be a way to get it to make that switch automatically? Even my 20-year-old £50 Sony clock radio can do that without me having to intervene! Is there something I'm missing here?

The only thing your’e missing is that the car’s software is bugged to hell and hardly fit for purpose (IMHO that is).

There is a setting to make setting of the time automatic, which you would reasonably assume would automatically update the time using data from the GPS just like my previous 4 cars have (including a mk3 Superb) but sadly not. It seems to have no effect.

The music system software is driving me crazy, it’s so bad. It’s a great car but the software is atrocious!

I changed my clock setting to 'Automatic ', which is automatically 12 hours out.

Unfortunately, that's the conclusion that I'm beginning to arrive at after a few months of ownership. Starting to think that moving to a Skoda from that well-known Bavarian brand might not have been such a good idea.
