130 bhp superb AWX

Featured Replies

someone checked what

On my Fabia (130 bhp ASZ engine) the fuel temperature peaks at about 73°C (block 7), so yours is a bit high, but not outrageously so. Maybe the hot weather accounts for that.

Regards the 'rough idle' - it tends to be caused by emission regs etc, basically the engine is virtually stalled and then given a little fuel to not do so. It's probably slightly worse with aircon running for example.

my fabia VRS has had slightly lumpy tickover since the hot weather started although it does run smoother when the aircon is on , also cheaper supermarket fuel can cause uneven idling

.....May be "cheaper supermarket fuel" some times... and also hot weather here in spain about 36-38 external temp.

I don´t know, but I´ll check when finish hot weather.

Thanks a lot
