Detachable keys

I have the latest skoda octavia 2020 edition, new model at the time.

Unfortunately my key blade has detached from the fob housing , which has resulted in losing the electronic fob with keyless entry

It feels like its a design flaw, particularly the mechanism/latch that holds the blade in: the latch is small, often exposed, and not very robust, so it’s easy to hit, knock, or stress in day-to-day use

Has anybody else come across this issue?
