Simultaneous Crash Sensor Faults?

Hi all,

Long term lurker (without account), first time poster.

My partner (used to be my car) has a 2008 Superb 2 CBBB DSG SE spec.

I’m wondering if the collective hive mind could help me, or the very least point me in the right direction?

I’m getting multiple crash sensor driver and passenger faults in VCDS, indicated by an airbag MIL.

Could this be a faulty ABS module due to crash sensor faults on passenger and drivers side? And the sub system serials showing “000”? Is there common issues or any known locations to look for? Could loom fatigue at the door hinge cause this? Though I can’t see both sides having the issues exactly at the same time.

I will check behind the radio as that was removed and refitted about 11 months ago.

Any input would be fantastic!

I also have odd faults with the central electrics too. The rear light is a dodgy cable to the very side light on the rear cluster and the front dipped bulb was replaced last week.
