I bought a 2020 Octavia last week from a private seller. When I drove it the next day after taking it home, the car displayed a couple of problems saying excessive power consumption and stop/stop error. I felt like I have been fooled. Anyway I took it to a VW garage but their OBD2 was not compatible to my Skoda (apparently it is too new). I want to buy a OBD2 myself for future use. Can someone recommend one that is compatible with a 2020 Octavia. I am so stressed, hopefully someone can help.

That's not true, what they actually mean is that they have only enabled VW vehicle data.

You need to go to an independent Skoda specialist or a Skoda dealer.

If I want to buy a OBD2 for future use (read and clear errors), can you or someone recommend a unit that can be used on a 2020 Octavia?
