Looking for a replacement LED screen for my Octavia (2014).

The head unit part number is 5E0035874A [Recorded during a previous FW flash]

I think this is the MIB-1 variant can anyone confirm..???

Can anyone advise if the below will be suitable as a replacement ..???

Avoid - that won't work for you. Its a generic Android auto tablet interface that doesn't show you any of the functions of the car.

Bugger....

Thought that could be the case.

(though i should say if it matters the unit as a whole is functional its just the display thats gone pop)

Any other ideas that may work.....

Please speak to our resident in-house MIB expert @pab567 who can advise you on upgrade options.

You can go for an MIB2.5 system with bigger screens (as found on the Facelift >2017 cars). All depends on whether you have a Swing (super-basic) Bolero (basic), Amunsden (mid-range - perfectly good) or Columbus (top range) system.

Ok dumb question but how do i know which i have....?

And wouldnt that mean swapping out the display and head unit ..

So would it then need coding to the car..

Also what about unlock codes etc etc
