Left heated rear seat 'stuck' on

Featured Replies

Used the rear heated seats in my 2025 Octavia SE L yesterday. and my son was unable to turn off the rear left heating.

If you turn the right one on, then press the button more times the indicators show the heating level going down and eventually going off. However, for the left hand one, all 3 indicator lights are on, and repeated presses of the button shows no change. This even persisted after stopping the car, getting out, locking for 5 or 10 minutes and then returning to the car.

I haven't been out to check it today, but just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this?

Thanks

Andy

A friend of mine has a Mk 4 vRS which is 18 months old now. He had a similar problem and his son could not turn off the heated seat. The dealer did a software upgrade and it has been fine ever since. 🤞

Thanks for the info. I'll give the dealer a call on Monday and see what they suggest.

Have you tried a hard reset of the infotainment?

I haven't. But went out to the car last night and it all worked as it should. I'll monitor it in future. Thanks both for taking the time to reply.

Great news.

Took parents home after Boxing day and thought I'd show off and activate the rear heated seats (first time using them) on my VRS MK4.5 (UK).

Set both seats to the 2nd heat level without issue. Drove back home, decided to check if seats needed turning off but the controls wouldn't respond.

Tried in settings to turn on/off no good.Left car and checked next day , all working again.

Definitely one to keep an eye on if you have the winter pack and have people in the back.
