Windshield fluid froze

Featured Replies

I tried waiting until it unfreezes after long trip and it doesn't make any sound anymore. Am I ****ed? 😬 Also what's up with the empty space under windshield wipers? Spend an hour with a fan to get all ice out because they wipers can't go down anymore.

Check your fuses. The fuse will normally pop before the motor does. Also bear in mind that just because the top of the tank's thawed, the bottom might not be.

That's reassuring but just checked manual and there's no mention about pump fuse and after some googling I found out that at least mk1 didn't had one and it just takes out pump. 😬 It would be wild if it failed after like 3 tries.

There'll be a fuse somewhere, it'll just be shared with other things. I tend to just continuity test them all one at a time in situ
