Hi, just collected a 2020 Octavia IV so new to this car, and Skodas. Question: How do I turn the radio off? Just can't seem to find an 'off button' in/on the Infotainment screen, which is totally new to me.

There's a 'standby' logo at the bottom left of where the screen is located. Press and hold that for a second or two.

Do you mean the infotainment on/off button? Surely this will turn the whole infotainment system off and not allow you to do anything else?

Yes it will, if you just want the radio off then mute it

On the steering wheel are several buttons and a silver scroll ‘wheel’ on each spoke.

The left one of these is the volume; scroll it to increase/decrease the volume or click it to mute.

Also, under the infotainment screen is a touch sensitive bar, it is also a volume control.

I just mute mine. Regarding the strip under the screen - it took me a long while to work out that you need to slide your finger along it (or maybe it matters where along its length you touch it).

Thanks for all the suggestions and help, I think I am now getting to grips this systems on the car and understand a lot more than I did.

It's a terrible user interface for something as simple as a volume control. The 'slider' under the screen isn't illuminated so can't be seen in the dark. The scroll wheel on the steering wheel is not obvious. Terrible design, all to save a few quid on a knob.
