2024 Superb Infotainment offline update

Featured Replies

Hi

Got 2024 Superb, which I was trying to connect to my SkodaID. Unfortunately globe on top right part of the screen remains grey.

I know that it has been 10+ times at the dealer with various problems including dashboard lights, errors etc. Since I'm unable to check OTA updates (privacy settings are not loading at all- stuck at loading screen) I've checked software version in the eng menu which is described as MOI3PG_EU_VW_R4500L.

Decided to compare this with display car at dealer which has two software versions installed- branded as SK and VW (different than mine, also newer version)

Is there any option to perform offline update and add missing SK firmware or the only possibility will be to book an appointment at dealer?

Attached pictures for reference from both cars (screen covered in plastic is a display car at dealer)

Unable to edit, so forced to use reply button.

Got my hands on MOI3GP_EU_VW_R6500L, can anybody confirm if it's safe to perform update via USB?

Have you updated it, and did it work?

Unfortunately no, ended at skoda service and what they did was called virtual mib swap. Now I'm still on the same sw version (according to the its the latest one available) and having skoda connect working again

Interesting, because mine seems to be newer out of the box (also Superb IV)

I thought there would be even newer version than mine to update to

Same version of 2768 on my Superb manufacturing year 2025
