Yeti Boot Leak

Featured Replies

I have read numerous reports concerning water in the battery box/tool box area and have undertaken most of the suggestions provided by others with this problem. I have checked the tailgate gasket, tightened the roof Arial and roof bar mounts, checked the tailgate struts and removed the right rear light cluster. Checked high level stop light. All OK but water persists. The only thing I haven't done is the body vent which i understand is behind the rear bumper. I could see this being an issue if the leak only occurred during travel but I can't see how rainwater alone would penetrate there as I assume it lies lower than the boot floor. Can anyone please advise me of the precise location of the vent so I may deal with that if my theory is incorrect.
I attach a photo which shows where water is running from behind the rear quarter panel. Can this panel be easily removed?
Would greatly appreciate any help and advice on this issue.
