Fabia- Infotaintment Issues

Featured Replies

I have my Fabia from new 12 months and have always had intermittant issues with the infotainment screen.

Usually the touch screen doesn't work, or you press any button and it selects the Radio.

Also, it's like it's locked so I can't answer or make calls, look at Google Maps ( I use Android Auto)

I have been to the Main Dealer 5 times, have had the touchscreen replaced and it is still having issues. Apparently a part is on order from Germany which should have been here back end of last year and still no progress.

Has anyone else had issues like this? The car is on PCP so I'm thinking of just stopping the payments and handing the car back for a refund!!

I have had an identical issue and had screen and control unit replaced to no avail. Im now thinking its an android auto issue- do you use a samsung by any chance?

Hi Lorna, yes we do.

Very strange isn't it?

Ive been looking into it and there seems to be an issue with samsungs and android auto

My dealer has been really helpful and tried extensively to help resolve this but i now believe its this samsung/ android auto glitch. It occurs intermittently for me- but unable to make/ answer calls. Pressing settings gives me air con, vehicle gives me radio and messages makes a random call i cannot terminate!

Let me know if you make any progress in resolving please
