Hi does anyone know how to keep the last drivers mode setting stored rather than changing it every time get in the car!? Coding using vcds or obd11 Tia

This can be changed only by modifing gateway dataset.

That only refers to Gearbox mode being lost on restart. FL models won't keep Drive Select position on restart because of emissions. Same reason you can't code out the start/stop

It’s 2026 - translators have existed for a long time already.
btw, If you don’t have ODIS, VCP, etc., there’s no point in trying to figure it out.
