I have a 2014 Superb Elegance estate, and I was wondering if I can add the tv option to my Columbus head unit?

OEM solutions do not support current TV standards (DVBT) so all you can do is to find some aftermarket ones.

    the tv reception on the factor fitted unit is very iffy so i would suggest don't waste your time.
