Afternoon, hope your all having a lovely easter break.

I've recently purchased a MKIII Vrs Estate and wanting to install a mobile phone cradle and charger. Please can I have some advice on the locations that other members have installed there's?

Do you actually need physical access to the phone screen while driving? Does your car not have MFSW - and navigation on the infotainment screen?

I have a great satnav that I use all the time on my phone, but it isn't supported by carplay

What infotainment system do you have in your Octavia? What model year is it?

I always use Google maps and have placed this cradle on the dash. The cars navigation screen is to low down, this cradle on the dash is easy to glance at without taking your eyes off the road.

I have a 2020 Octavia VRS

A MagSafe vent mount is probably the neatest I think. You might just need a MagSafe cover for your phone. Then run the lead from the usb port.
