This annoyance was discussed on this Fabia Mk4 sub-forum in this 2023-2025 topic, but no 'fix' was provided.

I notice that - in this VW T6 Facebook group entry

https://www.facebook.com/groups/341447403317545/posts/2154737708655163/

- it was suggested that swiping down from the top of the display screen allowed the privacy settings to be accessed. (I'm sceptical, but perhaps worth a try!!!)

Thank you

Another earlier forum discussion about the 'data protection system' - this time relating to a 2019 Skoda Scala with the Bolero infotainment unit.

https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/484399-issue-with-data-protection-dialogue-box-bolero/

GOOGLE-searching on skoda fleet interface activation will (If you are lucky!) allow a .pdf file to be retrieved and this covers adjusting the Privacy Settings of Skoda vehicles, with a 3-page section devoted to Fabia/Scala//Kamiq models that have either the Amundsen infotainment-unit or the smaller Swing/Bolero units.

(There's also a complex multi-page "Online services" section in the Fabia Mk4 Owners Manual.)

The reality seems to be that, whatever a Fabia Mk4 owner does regarding the privacy settings, when the car is started some sort of unavoidable message will appear that seeks an OK response.

For my own 2024 Fabia, as I habitually turn off its Lane Assist and START-STOP features prior to driving off, also OK-ing a tedious (and unasked for) message on my car's Amundsen touchscreen isn't much of a bother.
