Hi all, I have a creaking noise from the front end left side for some time now when I turn the steering wheel slowly, but only when moving off. I did hit a pot hole once with the nearside front a few months ago so maybe that damaged something, but the suspension seems fine. Any advice will be helpful.

When my 2015 vRS estate was new, it developed a front end creak that was resolved under warranty. It turned out to be particularly tight drop links, which were replaced and the creak cured.

It noticed most on slow speed turning, in my case, reversing on to my drive.

Would agree with Gaz to look at the drop-links. I had a very annoying creaking sound coming from the drivers side when moving at low speeds. New drop-link on the drivers side cured the problem.

cost £160 all in to sort.
