The return of the Slippery Slope

After an eighteen month seperation, me and my old motor have been re-united. I was looking for another Vrs, and OU51 happened to be available.

She's a bit faster than when I last saw her, and considerably louder, but what the heck. The chap I sold the car to has spent a fair bit on it, and as long as he has erred on the side of "use" rather than "abuse", then all should be OK. Oh, and if anyone knows different, I think I'd just as soon NOT know, thanks  !! I'm paranoid enough at the best of times.

So, what to buy first, I wonder ....

He, you can't have OU51... *I* have OU51.... :P

Oh, and welcome back

Thank you Q.

Is it the exact car you had before ?

Indeedy do.

Well, it was the same guy that bought it from me that I just handed a cheque to in order to get it back again, and the documentation says it's the same car ... so I flippin' hope it's the same car!!

You never know though ;)

I bet the seller was suprised when you turned up

What else has he done to it while its been in his "care"?????

Yeh wot mods?

Did he drill your airbox

i hope you paid less for it now than what you sold it for , it is 18 months older after all

Most of the mods have been 'undone', if you see what I mean.

Induction kit, dump valve, turbo inlet pipe etc were all removed prior to my buying the car, and these parts returned to standard.

She does have an exhaust like a drainpipe, a Jabba remap, a boost gauge, a very cute holographic parking-sensor thingy and a not-so-cute bright green turtle air-freshener on the dashboard :P

The tailgate badge also reads "1.4 16v" instead of VRs, which I kind of like. This was fitted after some scrote pinched the VRs badges, front and rear.

The worst feature is the number plates, which bear the mark of the Devil (Mit****ls Skoda, on the Wirral). I've already ordered replacements :D

The chap I bought it from is (was ???) a Briskodian, and seems like a decent lad.

Ordering a replacement front VRs badge sounds like a good excuse for a blast into Hereford tomorrow morning, methinks. Purely for testing purposes ... ;)

Yes, I did pay less for it! :)

Well lads, yes it was mine :D

The ABD FMIC, and CAI were removed prior to selling.

The turbo inlet pipe is still in there mate, I didn't bother taking it out as it was too much of a hassle! lol

It's a great car and Beretta will back me up on that! Since he's jealous! lol :D

Have fun mate!
