hi alll..

i am having a vrs tdi Ea288 engine i think, while pushing harder, climbing hills i am frequently getting red coolant warning lights, mostly i ll topup ontime, some time it refills by its on by opening the cap,i ve replaced the waterpump twice, bypassed the egr, replaced the coolant reservoir, still the issue remains the same, and drove it by bypassing the intercooler too, still the issues remains the same..

can anyone helpme out please, the coolant is leaking out through the reservoir..

thanks

adam

Hello, welcome to the forum.

It sounds to me that you have an airlock in the coolant system.

I'd suggest you check for any coolant bleeding procedure and try that.

no mate...i ve done all that by different garages so far...only part left is to replace the thermostat housing....

egr deleted

dpf deleted

new coolant reservoir

full system flush

new water pumps, that too VAG spec

Just remember if you are ever pulled for a 'Roadside check' say it was you that did the DPF delete and not land the garage in the sh!t.

no no mate...its all back to stock now...since its not the factor for this coolant loss so everything is back to stock..and personally i dont have any issues so far with the dpf...

the garage bypassed everything to save some money from me...

it runs on stock now....

blocked heater matrix, charge cooler leaking or head gasket gone are the other options
