Trying to get my door lock barrel out of the drivers door and struggling. Followed the original service instructions and differing things from online. Anyone got a definitive way of doing it?

Any admin peoples who could move this post to say Ask a Tech page?

How did you get on with your lock? I'm having same issue unable to remove lock barrel to remove lock mechanism.

Forgot to say, there doesn't appear to be a top screw in the small hole. Bottom screw is there and turns.

Undo the top a few turns and then begin undoing the bottom one a little at a time whilst pulling on the lock and it should pop out. I think I had trouble with the online guides because mine was stuck.

There should be, lots of stories of people dropping it inside the door.
