What’s the best parts finder app/website?

Featured Replies

Hey everybody!

I am a proud owner of a 2017 Octvaia 1.8TSI for two months now. Does anybody know what app/website is the best to find parts for your car? (a brake change is shortly due, and would be awesome to have a website which works and finds parts through VIN’s like ETKA).

Thanks for the help in advance)

Benjamin

I find Skoda-Parts.com is the best for looking up OEM part numbers and verifying sizes especially with brake discs. I then buy from Auto-Doc but living in Ireland means I don't have any additional charges, probably would be best buying from euro car parts in the UK, I do occasionally buy from Skoda-Parts.com but only for OEM parts as I'm not paying dealer prices for parts

Thanks! I usually buy stuff from AutoDoc or GafaAuto (9/10 times this is cheaper), but the octavias from 2017, came with at least 3size of breaks, found the one I need written on the sticker in the trunk this morning, would still be nice to have a softwer which does the job for me:))

That's why I love Skoda-Parts, you can add your VIN to the Garage and it greys out all non compatible components so you know at least the correct parts size or part number, and where there are Specific side components such as the interior blower motor it clearly states in red that it is either for LHD or RHD

I believe that if you register a VIN at skoda-parts.com you can subsequently be offered only parts that suit that VIN.

Haven't tried it myself, but it sounds handy if it works. Give it a try.

Typically the info on the boot sticker only gives rear brake PR code, not front.

Will try that! Yes the sticker only gives you the rear number (in my case 1KS).

As per a previous post, constantly searching for parts on the site will result in you being blocked.

Thanks for the tip! Have you found any alternatives?
