2019 Swing Infotainment Unit Display

Featured Replies

Good afternoon everyone

Just looking for some advice on the best path forward for my Skoda Fabia 2019. My infotainment (Swing + I believe) has been a bit glitchy and colourful the last 2 months with lines / colours appearing on my display. All functions / volume / buttons work as normal. It basically occurred as the warmer weather started which made me think it had to do with expansion of the back wiring. After the car warms up the display returns to normal (see images below for progression during one morning drive).

Has anyone experienced this before and is it an easily fixed problem?

Thanks

Yes - unfortunately this is typical problem, display replacement is a solution. Pls share part number of your infotainment unit so I can advise you further.

Thanks so much for linking the replacement part.

How difficult would you suggest replacing this would be? Is this something that I would need to take to a specialist or can this be done relatively easily at home? I would say I have basic experience pulling apart electronics!

It's not a rocket science, can be done relatively easily at home.
